Just noticed today that Google is now showing video sitelinks in their regular organic search results. After some quick digging, there wasn’t any evidence of the use of RDFa or Facebook Opengraph mark-up related to the videos. Nor was there evidence of a video sitemap XML file (I couldn’t easily find it at least).
But this is just further evidence that universal search and video optimization is something we should be paying attention to.
